Georges-Olivier Darrason

Georges-Olivier is a distinguished French politician, high civil servant, and strategic affairs expert with a distinguished career spanning public service, consulting, and academia.
He is the Chairman of Grignan Consultance, a firm focused on strategic investments in sectors such as renewable energy, aeronautics, and the environment. Prior to this, he was the Founder and Chairman of CEIS, a leading strategy consulting firm specialising in security, defense, and public policy. He successfully led CEIS until his exit in 2020.
From 1993 to 1997, Georges-Olivier served as a French Deputy in the National Assembly, where he played a key role in defense policy and national service reform. He was the author of several influential reports on defense strategy and served as special rapporteur on major environmental projects, including the rehabilitation of the Etang de Berre. He later served as Councillor for French Citizens Abroad from 2001 to 2007, advocating for the interests of French nationals worldwide.
In addition to his policy and business leadership roles, Georges-Olivier is a dedicated academic. He currently directs the Master 2 programme on French Security and Defense at the prestigious Institut d'Études Politiques d'Aix-en-Provence, where he mentors future leaders in strategic governance.
